My Husband initially contacted the Bereavement Service as he was worried about me, following the death of my Sister. He had a chat with Chris and she explained that I should give her a call once I felt ready to speak to a Counsellor. I made the initial call and we set up a convenient time for me to talk about my feelings. It was a few months after my Sister had died and at times I felt very lost and lonely. Talking with Chris made me feel better and able to understand some of what I was feeling was normal. After the first appointment; we arranged a follow-up session and so on. I looked forward to speaking to Chris - there were always tears but she just let me cry and talk about my Sister. We would talk about what plans I could have for myself for the future and how to deal with things. On each call, we would chat about what we had talked about previously and if anything had changed. The time spent talking went quickly.

Not having had counselling before, I wasn't sure what to expect and I really cant think of anything that could have been done better other than being face to face. This however was down to the Covid situation. I was offered to do a zoom meeting but this wasn't for me.

Couldnt have asked for anyone better to help me. Chris was kind and caring throughout and really helped me with the tools I needed to be able to work past my emotions. Absolutely would recommend to anyone

All the nurses have shown great care and understanding both to my dad (the patient) myself and my mum (visitors) and have always been available to answer any questions./nThe facilities are excellent. Very happy with the care provided.

I feel I did not have a very good experience in hospital. To come to Bury Hospice has been the best thing that has happened to me. Staff are amazing.

First day a couple of staff members (not the doctor) were brusk and in my view not as welcoming as we would expect.

Welcome briefing for family members. Better food for richer and sandwich first night left him hungry.

The only real regular contact my mother receives is from the outreach service.

Nothing./nMy mother is delighted to have the visits.
